Hi, I’m Risa, the creator of RisaKyara. The name comes from a mix of my name and the word “Kyara,” short for “character.”
I first started RisaKyara over ten years ago when my daughter was a newborn. My dream back then was to design a kawaii-inspired clothing line, so I created a collection of onesies and toddler t-shirts filled with playful charm. Life got busy and I had to set the project aside, but the idea never really left me.
Now, after all these years, I am giving it another try. RisaKyara is back, and I am excited to restart this creative journey.
The main characters are inspired by animals close to my heart. The cat is Rocket, our family cat. The white dog is Qush, our sweet pup in heaven. Along with them are a few other cute animals I imagined would make fun and lovable characters.
